Therme Erding is not just any leisure pool – it is considered the largest thermal bath in the world and attracts over a million visitors from all over Europe every year. Covering a total area of more than 155,000 square meters, Therme Erding combines a breathtaking world of slides, an extensive thermal landscape, one of Germany's largest sauna complexes, and numerous wellness areas. Once you've been here, you'll immediately understand why Erding is at the top of Bavaria's leisure map.
The thermal bath's offerings are divided into several main areas, which you can visit individually or in combination, depending on your ticket.
The centerpiece for adrenaline junkies and families with children is Galaxyland, Europe's largest slide complex. More than 27 water slides await you here – from the cozy family ring to the 25-meter-high free-fall tower, which will literally take your breath away. Highlights include:
Those looking for peace and relaxation are in the best hands in the thermal area. The mineral-rich thermal water from a depth of about 2,000 meters has a natural temperature of about 37 degrees Celsius and is rich in calcium, magnesium, and other minerals. Several indoor and outdoor pools, lazy rivers, whirlpools, and a huge outdoor pool invite you to drift and relax – even in winter, when steam rises over the heated water.
With over 20 different saunas, steam baths, and experience showers, the Sauna Paradise at Therme Erding is one of the most impressive sauna landscapes in Germany. Whether Finnish log cabin sauna, bio sauna, aroma sauna, steam bath, or laconium – there is something for every taste. Regular infusion ceremonies with various scents and themes round off the experience. The sauna area is accessible from age 16 and requires a separate ticket or a combination ticket.
In addition to slides and saunas, Therme Erding offers an extensive pampering program: In the Vital & Beauty area, you can choose between classic massages, Ayurvedic treatments, cosmetic applications, and body wraps. Booking treatments online in advance is recommended, especially on weekends and public holidays.
