The focus is on the topic AI for Science – specifically, the targeted application of AI methods in medicine, environmental sciences, energy and materials research, and adjacent disciplines. What is the Helmholtz AI Conference – and why is it special?

The Helmholtz AI Conference is the annual flagship event of Helmholtz AI, the AI platform of the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres. The Helmholtz Association is one of the largest scientific organizations in Germany and operates 18 research centers in areas such as energy, health, earth, aviation, and key technologies. Helmholtz AI bundles the AI expertise of these centers, creating a unique interdisciplinary research community that connects basic machine learning with applied research.
