Historical part of the Museum of Flight

The historical site comprises the old aircraft factory, the control tower as an observation platform and the garrison headquarters. These house exhibits on the history of the Schleißheim airfield and the development of flying.

The heart of the museum is the huge glass hanger with exhibits from civil aviation, military aviation and space flight. The overall exhibition area covers around 8,000 square metres.

Special exhibitions, flying days and a variety of changing events make the Flugwerft Schleißheim an attractive and exciting day out for the whole family.
