... just your you. Unfortunately
this can only be a small selection. The travelling times by public
transport have been calculated from the stations S1
Oberschleißheim (1.8 km from the hotel)
and U6 Garching
(3.5 km from the hotel) unless otherwise specified. Public car parks
are available at both stations. A regular bus runs between both
stations and the hotel on working days.

The Technology Forum is the home of
the Planet Dome and the IMAX film theatre. Films are shown in 3D technology
on the giant IMAX screen (16 x 22 metres). A star projector apparently

| Dachau has seen an
awful lot in its 1200 year history. Dukes and Prince Electors decided
on the fate of the town for over 700 years. Between 1840 and 1914
Dachau
– along with Worpswede - became the most important colony
for artists. This is where Spitzweg, Dill, Liebermann, Corinth worked.
Between 1933 and 1945 Dachau experienced the horrors of a concentration
camp. Over 32,000 prisoners died from torture, execution, hunger
and disease. The Concentration
Camp Memorial is a reminder of these dark days. |
